Circular Business Model Design Guide

The circular economy, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 12, promotes sustainable business practices by maintaining the value and use of products and materials through restorative and regenerative design, contributing to SDGs 13, 14, and 15.

A report by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation highlights that only a small percentage of goods' material value is recovered, making the circular economy an essential economic alternative with commercial opportunities for businesses through product life extension, re-use, remanufacturing, up and downcycling, recycling, and embracing new business models and disruptive technologies.
